Animals were given fantastic Instincts. That is how the swallows find Capistrano and Butterflies migrate between Canada and Mexico. What a wonderful survival gift.
We have been given a gift even greater. Our wonderful Mind working in conjunction with our miraculous Brain.
And why is this?
If I can remember it means I can Learn....how to change the oil in my car or how to learn a foreign language....everything in the world, if I have the time and inclination. I can learn how to make things; how to use things; and so much more...
If I can worry it means that I have that most awe inspiring capability...Imagination! With imagination I can become a creator of wonderful things....all the things around us that we use everyday were first an idea that we 'imagined'. Fear and worry are not exactly the same thing and we will talk about that another time.
If I can tie my shoe means the mechanical parts are all working properly and I can 'translate' the learning and imagining into physical action. And most important...if the mechanical parts aren't working so well, I can use Learning and Imagination to figure out other ways to do things!!
